Get to Know Us
The Dade County Street Response Disaster Relief Team was founded in 2018 by a group of medical students dedicated to providing community-centered medical and psychological services to South Florida residents in preparation for and response to disasters. The team seeks to create a platform to connect residents with existing support services, provide disaster-related medical relief, and to coordinate a community-oriented, systematic, post-disaster response network. In 2020, DCSR expanded by partnering with the Miami Street Medicine team. Together, we're able to offer year-round medical care, case management, and MedEd. Our weekly outreach now delivers high-quality healthcare and case management to our neighbors on the street throughout the year.
